Overall I did enjoy reading the story and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and easy YA romance. I think it would have been nice to see Bre actually stick to her principles here instead of giving in to the peer pressure from her sister, friend, etc. When Bre first received her dare she's pretty adamant that she doesn't want to do it regardless of the consequences because that's not how she wants her first kiss.
It's daunting enough for one girl to even cheat on the boy that she's been dating for two years because there are hazing like consequences to not following through like public humiliation, having your head shaved, etc.
The actual dare seems like a pretty big deal in this particular school. I guess my issue with the book is that I was looking for a little bit more. Bre is very relatable and the story definitely kept me reading all the way through. It's fun, easy to read, and perfect for the age group that it's directed towards. This story was definitely what I was looking for in terms of a short and cute summer read.
